New to netball Competition & Club Information
If you are new to netball, there is quite a lot of information to digest - NetSetGo, uniforms, expectations, when teams play - we have summarised all the information you need here!
Understanding Age Divisions
All age groups are based upon the player's age on the 31st of December in the year of competition.
NetSetGO
NetSetGO is Australia's official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10. It's a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. This is the first time they'll pick up a netball or chuck on a bib for many kids. It's a learning experience and a lot of fun.
Junior Netball
Covering ages 10 to 17, Junior netball is competition based and graded in divisions based on ability.
Senior Netball
Players can participate in Senior netball from 15 years of age, with no age limit. Senior grades span across four divisions, from competitive to social.
If you are 15, you can be registered in both Junior and Senior netball, playing two games each weekend.

Parent Responsibilities
Volunteers run the Shoalhaven Netball Association and affiliated clubs. Each season the association requires each Club to run the canteen on two to three Saturdays per season, depending on the number of teams each Club has. Parents will be allocated a time and, if unable to make the time, must find another person to cover the duty. Failure to complete canteen will lose teams competition points, and a fine will be issued from the association.
Team Allocations and Season Information
To be able to join a team, you need to be registered. The new PlayHQ system processes registrations and payments and can be accessed here: WTNC Registration Link. You are not able to play or train unless you have registered.
The Club will place players in a team, grade teams as required and allocate a coach. Coaches will work with their teams to find a suitable training time. Training will be held at the courts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons or evenings.
The season starts April through to September, breaking for school holidays.
